Structure Fire

July 23, 2018

At approximately 10:50 p.m. on July 22nd station 9 responded along with CKC Buffalo and Antioch fire departments referencing a structure fire on the corner of West Carolina Street and North Chester Street.

Upon arrival light smoke was showing from the residence. Units quickly made entry and found a laundry basket on fire. The basket was removed with minimal damage to the house itself. Everyone exited the house safely as a quick knockdown was made on the fire in the growth stages of fire due to the quick response from our volunteer fire departments in Blacksburg SC. Thanks to all of the Firefighter who assisted with this incident as we continue to grow, train, and educated ourselves to become better firefighters.
