As the owner of this house, I want to express my sincere thanks for all your efforts and everything you and the other departments did to get this out as quickly as possible that night. Also I appreciate the compassion and concern that you showed me when I arrived on the scene. As I stood there trying to grasp what had happened you took the time to ask if I was OK and answered the many questions I had trying to figure out what possibly caused the fire. I appreciate your dedication to the Blacksburg Fire Department and the many tireless hours you spend to protect and serve our city.
