At 7:51 a.m. Blacksburg fire department was dispatched to the intersection of Highway 29 and Leagan Drive referencing a motor vehicle accident with reported injuries.

Upon arrival two cars were observed on the side of the road with obvious body damage. Further assessment of all occupants determined minor injuries of one of the drivers.

Station 9 units deployed a small amount Oil-Dri to Aid in the absorption of coolant which was on the ground.

Blacksburg fire department personnel cleared the scene at 8:14 a.m.
