At 5:03 p.m. Blacksburg fire department was dispatched to 205 West Carolina Street referencing a single car motor vehicle accident. Upon arrival a single-occupant of a white Volkswagen Beetle was found shaken but otherwise uninjured. The car sustained body damage to the front right fender.

The patient was assessed and transported by EMS. Blacksburg fire cleared the scene at 5:30 p.m. .
