At approximately 11:40 p.m. on February 12th Blacksburg Fire Department was dispatched Mutual Aid with CKC Fire Department referencing a single story residential structure fire. Upon arrival the structure which was determined to be a single wide mobile home was fully involved.

Units deployed 2 1 and 3/4 in hand lines and conducted a defensive attack against the fire. The fire was brought under control at approximately 12:05 a.m. no injuries were reported however . Blacksburg units cleared the scene at 12:20 a.m.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation. anybody who may have information about this fire is encouraged to contact Blacksburg fire department or the CKC Fire Department.
